Film Review Podcast: “Amour”

Before I get into today’s film, allow me to mention a couple of film festivals going on in Louisville worthy of your attention.

The Louisville Film Society always has some interesting films to show. The group is currently hosting a Film Noir Festival on Wednesday nights. You can find further information here.
This morning I reviewed “Amour,” which features the Oscar-nominated performance by Emmanuelle Riva. As well as an equally stunning performance which hasn’t been nominated, by Jean-Louis Trintingant.
It is a quite stunning and affecting bit of mature film making, directed by Michael Haneke.
