"There is a thin line between genius & insanity." Spector, for better or worse, also produced the last Beatles' album, "Let It Be;" "The Concert for Bangladesh;" George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" & "Living in the Material World," & various other Harrison releases; Leonard Cohen's "Death of a Ladie's Mane;" etc. A full blown Wagnerian schlockmeister who was perfect for the 60's. The nostalgia attacks that Spector's music brings is overwhelming. There is almost nothing comparable to hearing "Be My Baby" & leaving one with chills running down your back & tears flowing down your face. As a teenager, I saw the Ronettes, in Freedom Hall. They wore long hair, tight Capri pants, & stilletto heels---212 degrees Farenheit and going up.

Spector was a complete loon as well as a complete genius!! His work with John Lennon was a personal highlight of the 70's. Probably needs to be off the streets.
Maybe he'll find some musical prison act to produce. Personaly,I think "Bubba and Penatrators" sound could benifit greatly from the ol' "Wall of Sound"!!Of course I drink heavy, early and often so what do I know??
